Amanda Diefenderfer
Proprietress

Amanda S. Diefenderfer founded Big Red Marketing in July of 2012. She began her career working for the California Wine Institute, Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance and in strategy for a local print company expanding services to meet the evolving needs of their clients. Diefenderfer participated in SLO Leadership, actively supports the local chapter of the Santa Clara University Alumni Association and attended the Panetta Institute’s Leadership Seminar. She also sits on the executive committee for both Studios on the Park’s Board of Directors and Mission College Prep’s Board of Regents. Recently, CalTravel recognized her as an Emerging Leader in Tourism and she published her first book, Listening to Millennials: 56 Pricelss Tips for Managers. During her four years at Santa Clara University she earned a B.A. in English and a B.S. in Commerce a marketing concentration. Diefenderfer named her company after the family ranch she grew up on in Paso Robles – Big Red Vineyard.

Angelica Ottman
Account Manager

Angelica Ottman is an account manager with Big Red Marketing. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and previously worked for the YMCA and Disney. Prior to Big Red Marketing, Ottman served as Cal Poly’s Stewardship Coordinator for nearly three years. At Cal Poly she was responsible for maintaining and strengthening relationships with the university’s most significant supporters through specialized donor plans, recognition events, high-touch gifts, and highly personal written correspondence.Through professional experience and education Ottman has developed excellent communication skills, the ability to proactively plan and prepare, and learned how to create experiences that effectively communicate the big picture.A big believer in customer service, Ottman prides herself on providing support that goes above and beyond the normal call of duty and always finding a solution (or collaborating with her teammates to find a solution) to even the most challenging obstacles. She has always been drawn to non-profit work and has a strong desire to help others. Native to the Central Coast, it is important to her to make a difference in the community that raised her and enjoy life and a little laughter along the way.

Hanna Meisinger
Account Coordinator

Hanna Meisinger graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with her Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communications. Meisinger began her time at Big Red Marketing in 2015 as an intern. During her college career, Meisinger worked in the Paso Robles wine industry at Lone Madrone. As an Account Coordinator at Big Red Marketing, Meisinger specializes in running auctions for our non-profit clients, provides logistical support for the many events run by Big Red Marketing, supplies graphic design support, and offers her knowledge of wine and the wine industry to clients. Meisinger plans to continue growing her wine expertise through Sommelier courses and travels.

Jessica Bohon
Account Coordinator

Jessica Bohon began interning with Big Red Marketing in April 2016. She is currently working on her Bachelor Degree at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in Agricultural Communications. In her studies, she has focused on marketing and social media classes as well as design and photo courses. Currently, Bohon utilizes her design, marketing, and social media skills in her work as an Account Coordinator within the wine, lifestyle and tourism industries. While mostly focusing on social media for multiple clients such as the Paso Robles Horse Park and Pacific Title Archives, she also enjoys helping with events run by Big Red Marketing. Bohon has a love for managing and marketing and hopes to use her skills to further dive into the wine, lifestyle and tourism industries. While wine and tourism is new to Bohon, she has outside experiences from her passion for horseback riding. Using her passion for riding, past work experiences and knowledge gained from specific coursework, she is ready step into the world of marketing and learn as much as she can.
